CNC Programming Consultant
Job Summary
Seeking experienced CNC Programming Consultants for part-time contract opportunities, who will develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs while supporting various manufacturing clients in aerospace, defense, and medical device sectors remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software such as Mastercam and Fusion 360
- Support CNC machining operations through program prove-outs and process validation
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC programming or CAM programming experience in precision manufacturing
- Strong experience with CAM software platforms like Mastercam, Esprit, or NX CAM
- Proven ability to troubleshoot CNC machining processes and programming issues
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
- Experience with CNC machining centers, mills, and multi-axis equipment
