CO VBC Aspiring ASA Medicare Actuarial

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Actuarial professional with experience in ACO/VBC and aspiring ASA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pricing, reserving, and forecasting for Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial lines of business
• Use financial models and actuarial tools to optimize healthcare provider clients' portfolio of VBC programs
• Conduct scenario modeling, forecasting, and simulations on large datasets to simulate profitability

Required Qualifications:

• BS or MS in math, economics, finance, or actuarial
• 3-5 Actuarial exams passed
• 2+ years of experience in an Actuarial role
• 1+ years of experience with Medicare Advantage
• Familiarity with SAS and/or SQL preferred
