Coalition Organizer

Job Summary

Supporting Advocacy Teams remotely, the part-time contractor Coalition Organizer will cultivate relationships with community leaders, train teams in organizing skills, and provide ongoing coaching to enhance advocacy efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Support Advocacy Teams in building and strengthening relationships with community leaders
• Train and coach Advocacy Teams in core organizing skills, including coalition development and outreach strategy
• Provide ongoing coaching to ensure effective engagement and integration of coalition partners in advocacy activities

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated background in organizing and coalition development
• Experience working with faith communities
• Ability to work with diverse groups and foster relationship-building
• Strong self-starter with goal-oriented mindset
• Availability to commit approximately 8 hours per week
