Coastal Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coastal Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of Coastal Zone Management Act Programs and coordinate with federal partners
• Provide technical and grants management support for Great Lakes Restoration Initiative projects
• Facilitate programmatic synergies and contribute to regional coastal workgroups

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Marine Policy, or a related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of coastal zone management issues and the Coastal Zone Management Act, with Great Lakes experience preferred
• Experience in nature-based solutions for shoreline management and enhancing climate resilience
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check and maintain it throughout employment
• Experience with stakeholder outreach and engagement in environmental policy issues
