Coastal Management Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coastal Management Specialist to support NOAA's Office for Coastal Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze state coastal nonpoint program submittals and develop findings for NOAA and EPA decisions
• Collaborate with state partners and EPA to clarify findings and request additional information
• Support the implementation of the National Coastal Zone Management Program and manage funding for related projects

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Marine Policy, or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience in environmental planning, policy, and regulatory support for the Federal Government
• Knowledge of coastal management issues, particularly coastal nonpoint pollution
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check and maintain background check requirements
