Job Summary
Supporting NOAA's mission, the full-time remote Coastal Resilience Specialist will manage executive and program coordination, prepare documentation for decision-making, and facilitate cross-agency collaboration to enhance coastal resilience and climate adaptation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide executive and program coordination support, including meeting planning and documentation
- Prepare briefing materials and status reports to assist executive decision-making
- Coordinate onboarding and support for fellows and interns, ensuring compliance with program requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in environmental science, marine science, public administration, or a related field with at least two years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree with at least six years of experience
- Experience supporting complex programs or multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills
- Experience developing and maintaining project tracking systems and program documentation
