COB Representative

Job Summary

To support the healthcare industry, the full-time remote COB Representative will investigate potential recoveries for Coordination of Benefits through various communications and research, managing interactions with providers, members, and other health plans.

Key responsibilities

• Identify recovery opportunities and process COB claims for members with other insurance
• Review and resolve email inquiries from internal customers regarding claims and eligibility updates
• Coordinate recoveries per federal regulations with other insurers and process Credit Balance claims

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• At least 2-3 years of experience in coordination of benefits or related healthcare fields
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
