COB Verification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a COB Verification Specialist to join their Payment Integrity team.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate recovery processes for overpaid claims and coordinate with internal teams
• Make outbound calls to providers to explain overpayment findings and resolve disputes
• Maintain detailed records of recovery activities and support leadership in delivering solutions

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years in health insurance claims, claims recovery, or a related field
• Proficient in basic Google Sheets and/or Excel
• Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing and medical billing
• Familiarity with provider contract terms and payment methodologies
• 1+ years of related work experience in analytics or operations (preferred)
