COBOL Developer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cobol Developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze mainframe programs and DB2 tables to identify coupling points to CIF and product administration systems
- Design and implement strategies to decouple ID dependencies with minimal impact on existing COBOL programs
- Collaborate with Java developers on cross-platform orchestration and contribute to modernization planning for billing and payment systems
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with IBM Mainframe (z/OS), COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and SQL
- Experience collaborating on Java/WebSphere-based systems
- Understanding of API-based decoupling and service orchestration
- Ability to assess ID and product code dependencies in hybrid architectures
- Prior experience in financial domain is highly preferred
