Job Summary

COBRA Benefits HR Representative is a contract-to-hire position that provides customer service support for COBRA benefits, handling inbound calls and inquiries while performing data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and member assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls and assist with COBRA notices, elections, payments, and coverage questions
  • Perform accurate data entry for COBRA enrollments and related updates while documenting actions taken
  • Support open enrollment and provide portal demos for new HR contacts and employees
Required Qualifications
  • Prior COBRA knowledge and experience processing COBRA enrollments or claims is a significant plus
  • Previous customer service or call center experience is required
  • Experience in COBRA, benefits, insurance, or medical office settings is advantageous
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage heavy call volume during busy periods and lead portal demos
