Job Summary
Providing essential support to clients, brokers, and participants, the full-time COBRA Support Specialist will manage COBRA administration in accordance with federal regulations while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm (EST preferred).
Key responsibilities
- Promptly respond to incoming calls and emails, offering assistance with COBRA-related inquiries and navigating the COBRA & Direct Billing Portal
- Timely process participant and client requests, including COBRA elections and account updates, while maintaining accurate documentation
- Stay current with COBRA regulations and collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues effectively
Required qualifications
- 6-12 months of direct COBRA Administration experience
- Experience with Direct Billing and familiarity with the WealthCare COBRA Platform preferred
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues in a fast-paced environment
- Track record as a team player with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
