Job Summary
Supporting COBRA & Direct Billing participants, the full-time COBRA Support Specialist will provide customer service and administration in accordance with federal regulations while working remotely during standard business hours.
Key responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information about COBRA notices, timelines, and payments
- Timely process participant and client requests in the COBRA & Direct Billing Portal, ensuring compliance with department procedures
- Document interactions and follow up on requests, maintaining organized records and collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues
Required qualifications:
- 6-12 months of direct COBRA Administration experience
- Experience with Direct Billing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage sensitive, confidential issues in a fast-paced environment
- Track record as an enthusiastic team player with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
