Job Summary
Providing essential support for COBRA and Direct Billing participants, the full-time COBRA Support Specialist will manage client interactions, process requests, and ensure compliance with federal regulations while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM (EST preferred).
Key responsibilities
- Promptly respond to incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information regarding COBRA administration
- Timely process participant and client requests in the COBRA & Direct Billing Portal, ensuring adherence to department procedures
- Maintain a strong knowledge of COBRA regulations and effectively address complex issues while documenting all interactions
Required qualifications
- 6-12 months of direct COBRA Administration experience
- Experience with Direct Billing preferred
- Familiarity with WealthCare COBRA Platform strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues in a fast-paced environment
