Job Summary
Providing essential support to clients, brokers, and participants, the full-time COBRA Support Specialist will manage COBRA Administration in accordance with federal regulations while working remotely from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm (EST preferred).
Key responsibilities
- Promptly respond to incoming calls and emails, offering assistance with COBRA notices, timelines, payments, and reporting
- Timely process participant requests in the COBRA & Direct Billing Portal, including elections and coverage changes
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of COBRA regulations and ensure compliance with privacy and security guidelines
Required qualifications
- 6-12 months of direct COBRA Administration experience
- Experience with Direct Billing preferred
- Familiarity with the WealthCare COBRA Platform strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues in a fast-paced environment
