Coder II - Pro-Fee Hospitalist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II - Pro-Fee Hospitalist.

Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate patient medical records to accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes
• Analyze documentation to identify any deficiencies and provide coding guidance
• Enter coded charges into various host systems for claim billing purposes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years coding experience in clinic and/or professional coding
• Nationally recognized coding credential (CPC, COC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIA or RHIT)
• Understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, and anatomy & physiology
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
