Coding Compliance Consultant

Job Summary

To ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, the full-time remote Provider Coding Compliance Consultant will develop, implement, and maintain policies while conducting audits and providing education to providers on coding compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits of provider services to ensure adherence to policies and regulations
• Provide written reports on audit findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement
• Coordinate coding education and training for providers regarding audit trends and compliance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in coding compliance or auditing
• Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CMS regulations
• Medical Coding Certifications such as CPC, CCS, or CCS-P preferred
• Experience auditing E/M services and procedures across multiple specialties
