Coding Education Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Education Specialist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update coding education curriculum based on current guidelines and best practices
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars for coders and related staff
• Create e-learning modules and provide hands-on guidance to enhance coding accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or a related field
• 2-3 years of coding experience required; 1-2 years of teaching experience preferred
• Relevant licenses and credentials such as CCS, CPMA, RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CHC, CPB
• Experience in coding guidelines and compliance regulations
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles
