Coding Education Specialist
Job Summary
To support a growing education initiative, the full-time remote Coding Education Specialist will research complex coding issues, develop training curricula, and deliver engaging instruction to learners of varying skill levels.
Key responsibilities
- Design and update coding lessons and assessments tailored to different audiences
- Deliver high-quality instruction in both virtual and in-person settings
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to ensure learner success
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Accreditation such as RHIT, RN, CPC, or CCS-P
- Experience with Emergency Department pro-fee coding
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual teaching platforms
