Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical billing and coding processes while managing the coding team
• Consult with physicians for clarification on documentation and advocate for proper documentation practices
• Manage client interactions, including denial management and coding reviews

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school graduate or GED certification
• Certification in CCS, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care coding experience, including surgical coding
• 3 years of management experience
• Formal education in ICD-9-CM/ICD-10/CPT coding, medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, and disease processes
