Coding Manager with AHIMA/AAPC Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Manager - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate an education program for coding trainees and educators, ensuring compliance with coding regulations
• Act as a resource for coding staff and assist in training and supervising coding department personnel
• Lead efforts to recruit and retain qualified staff, and complete performance evaluations for employees

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
• Current coding credentials from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC)
• 3+ years of inpatient hospital coding experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience
