Coding Operations Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operations of the Coding Department, the full-time Coding Operations Manager will ensure efficient workflows, compliance with coding guidelines, and achievement of key performance indicators while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise and manage the Coding Department teams, prioritizing workflows to meet goals and KPIs
• Conduct audits and assist in training, policy documentation, and process improvements to enhance team performance
• Analyze claims data and trends to support denial management and resolve complex claims issues

Required qualifications

• More than 5 years of experience in healthcare billing
• Two or more applicable Coding Certificates (CPC, COC, CRC, CPMA, CGIC)
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree is preferred, with experience as a substitute for education
• Experience in a large healthcare organization supporting 100+ providers and overseeing 10+ team members
• Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Visiquate and Power BI
