Coding Operations Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Team Lead, Coding Operations- IM.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and prioritize duties for service line coders
• Provide training and support to coding staff while monitoring productivity and quality
• Conduct performance evaluations and assist in hiring processes for coding personnel

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor Degree in healthcare preferred
• Coding/medical records experience and leadership/supervision experience required
• RHIT, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC or other job-related certification required
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and ability to maintain a high accuracy rate in coding
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-task environment and adapt to change
