Coding Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly level two coding reviews and manage chart review application report generation
• Review coding accuracy of records and compare outcomes with previous quality assurance findings
• Administer coding examinations and provide educational feedback to coders on results

Required Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding for commercial and federal payers
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P or RHIT/RHIA) required within one year of employment
• Minimum of three years of professional services coding experience
