Coding Quality Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Education & Quality Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform audits of outpatient and professional surgical coding, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and payer policies
• Support the coding quality assurance program and analyze audit results to identify educational needs and process improvements
• Develop and deliver targeted education for coders and providers, and prepare client-facing audit summaries and reports

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of coding experience, including outpatient and/or professional surgical coding
• 5+ years of coding quality auditing and/or coding education experience
• Advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and Medicare regulations
• Experience with surgical specialties such as orthopedics and general surgery
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
