Coding Review Supervisor - RHIA/RHIT Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Review Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervises coding workflow, monitors employee performance, and resolves issues
• Ensures compliance with coding guidelines and provides education based on review findings
• Coordinates training and develops coding tools and resources for staff

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC required; additional credential needed within 6 months for CPC only
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience: Minimum five (5) years of acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology
• Preferred Experience: Leadership experience in healthcare and three (3) years of coding auditing/monitoring experience
