Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the workflow of the coding department to maintain production levels
Ensure accurate coding of CPT, ICD-10, and ASA codes
Participate in ongoing review processes to assure accurate application of codes and billing regulations

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of ANESTHESIA Coding experience
High School diploma or GED required
Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirements
Prior experience with Athena preferred
