Coding Specialist - Diagnostic Radiology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code professional component for all imaging modalities in the Radiology Department
• Provide education/training on coding and clinical documentation to physicians and teammates
• Engage in provider/department contact and education for documentation and coding clarification

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in ICD-9 - ICD-10 coding
• Certification through AHIMA or AAPC as a coding specialist
• Experience in Radiology coding highly preferred
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and internet resources
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
