Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret medical record documentation to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes
• Maintain quality and timely coding for assigned specialty areas
• Assist in claim development functions to resolve problem patient accounts

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Associates degree in Health Information Management with relevant certifications OR equivalent coding certifications
• Two years of medical coding experience
• Preferred: Two years of physician office coding experience
