Coding Supervisor (WA Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage coding staff activities and perform coding, abstracting, and reporting in compliance with regulations
• Train and supervise coding department staff to maximize reimbursement and ensure quality coding
• Assist in oversight of processes to improve coding revenue cycle performance and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Current coding credentials from AHIMA or AAPC (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC)
• 3+ years of professional coding experience
• 3+ years of experience with electronic health records and healthcare applications
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
