Job Summary
To support the AFRL/IZ Digital Enablement Portfolio, the full-time Associate Cognitive Systems Engineer will analyze workflows, manage client relationships, and drive the adoption of digital products in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Fully own end-to-end adoption of AFRL IZ/IZX digital products, ensuring user engagement and minimizing operational friction
- Analyze human-workflow friction and design strategies for seamless human-machine adoption by applying Cognitive Systems Engineering methodologies
- Act as a trusted operational partner to clients, managing daily logistics and facilitating transitions to high-level strategy
Required qualifications
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance at Secret level, USG CAC, NIPR Access
- 1 year of professional experience in Cognitive Systems Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or a closely related role
- Strong foundational knowledge in Cognitive Systems Engineering, data collection methods, and analytical techniques
- Experience bridging technical product development teams and non-technical end-users
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage operational expectations and drive projects independently
