Collateral Review Underwriter

Job Summary

Responsible for reviewing and underwriting collateral appraisal and title reports, the full-time Collateral Review Underwriter will work remotely, ensuring compliance with appraisal review procedures and resolving any related issues with the Collateral Valuation Department and processors.

Key responsibilities

• Timely underwriting of appraisal and title documents upon receipt
• Analyze appraisals for compliance with guidelines and identify any fraudulent documentation
• Communicate underwriting decisions to relevant parties both verbally and in writing

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of conventional underwriting experience
• Knowledge of various investor guidelines and requirements
