Collateral Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collateral Specialist to manage loan package review and collateral documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process incoming collateral and shipping to warehouse banks
• Clear exceptions with warehouse banks and follow up on outstanding notes
• Review and condition correspondent collateral for defects prior to purchase

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3+ years of prior experience preferred
• Encompass experience preferred
• Familiarity with residential and commercial mortgage documents
• Knowledge of policies and procedures related to document requirements
