Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collateral Underwriting Analyst/Appraisal Review Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough reviews of residential appraisal reports for accuracy and compliance
Evaluate appraisals against investor guidelines and government agency requirements
Communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve appraisal issues

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience reviewing residential mortgage appraisals
Preferred designations include Direct Endorsement (DE) and/or Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR)
Strong knowledge of appraisal principles and valuation methods
Working knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
Experience with appraisal management companies (AMCs) and appraisal review platforms
