Collection Representative

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle team, the full-time remote Collection Representative will manage follow-ups on assigned accounts, contact patients and third parties for payment resolution, and maintain effective relationships to address account issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct follow-ups on assigned accounts to ensure timely payment and resolution
• Communicate with patients, employers, and insurance companies to expedite payments
• Document account details and resolve inquiries related to billing and collection processes

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Typically requires 2 years of experience in insurance processing, collections, or customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of medical insurance billing and legal processes
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
