Collection Representative

Job Summary

To support efficient revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Collection Representative will manage follow-ups on assigned accounts to ensure timely payments, establish relationships with patients and agencies, and resolve billing inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct follow-ups on assigned accounts to expedite payment and resolve outstanding issues
• Communicate with patients, employers, and insurance companies to facilitate payment processes
• Document account activities and maintain accurate records related to collections and billing inquiries

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Typically requires 2 years of experience in insurance processing, collections, or customer service
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of medical insurance billing and collection processes
• No licensure or certification required
