Collection Representative II

Job Summary

Utilizing various collection strategies, the full-time Collection Representative II will manage a portfolio of charged-off accounts with principal balances of $2,501 and greater, negotiating payment arrangements and ensuring compliance with regulatory policies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and determine the next course of action for delinquent accounts in the assigned queue
• Negotiate payment terms and settlements while applying knowledge of credit bureau reporting to support skip tracing efforts
• Document all account activity accurately and participate in monthly training sessions to enhance collection techniques

Required qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of collections or sales experience preferred
• Understanding of credit bureau reporting (CBR)
• Experience in negotiating payment arrangements
• Knowledge of FDCPA and compliance regulations
