Collection Representative II

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of charged-off accounts with principal balances of $2,501 and greater, the full-time remote Collection Representative II will utilize various collection strategies to negotiate payment arrangements and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review and determine the next course of action for delinquent accounts in the assigned queue
• Negotiate payment terms and settlements while utilizing credit bureau reporting insights to support discussions
• Document all account activity accurately and participate in continuous improvement training sessions

Required qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of collections or sales experience preferred
• Solid understanding of credit bureau reporting (CBR)
• Experience with skip tracing techniques
• Knowledge of FDCPA and compliance requirements
