Job Summary

A company is looking for a PFS Collection Specialist responsible for collecting commercial, government, and patient balances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor outstanding account balances and determine the next steps in the collection process
  • Follow up on claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement for services provided
  • Generate paperwork including insurance claim forms and collection letters, and investigate denied or underpaid claims
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Computer proficiency and experience in windows-based technologies
  • Prior work experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information discreetly
  • Ability to work as part of a team and respond positively in stressful situations
