Collection Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collection Specialist to manage the revenue cycle process and ensure timely collections from third-party payers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections
• Investigate denials, follow up with payers, and coordinate with billers and funding consultants
• Document collection actions, follow up on overdue accounts, and meet productivity goals

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2 or more years of experience in accounting, collections, or high-volume medical billing
• Knowledge of payment posting processes and medical insurance claims procedures preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Ability to manage confidential information and apply independent judgment
