Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts, the full-time Collection Specialist will initiate contact with debtors, document collection activities, and provide exceptional customer service while working in a hybrid environment with two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts
  • Initiate contact with debtors through various communication methods to discuss outstanding debts and negotiate payment arrangements
  • Document all collection activities in compliance with client standards and Federal Regulations
Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business or related fields preferred
  • 0-1 years of experience in collections or related customer service roles, preferably in a financial or credit environment
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to communicate effectively with debtors
  • Basic computing skills and familiarity with collections software and CRM systems
  • Must be able to obtain required License
