Job Summary
Managing assigned accounts, the full-time Collection Specialist will ensure timely and accurate billing, collections, and payment activities while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned accounts to verify claims, follow up on payments, and investigate denials
- Prepare correspondence for appeals and document all collection actions in the system
- Stay informed on funding regulations and meet productivity goals set by management
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 or more years of experience in accounting, collections, or high-volume medical billing
- Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures preferred
- Proficient in M.S. Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
