Collection Specialist - Infusion Pharmacy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collection Specialist in Infusion Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable over 60 days and denied claims within 7 days to meet cash collection goals
• Research outstanding balances, resolve collection issues, and recommend demographic changes for future collections
• Negotiate payment plans with patients and identify trends in denials or payment issues for supervisory review

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in medical collections with knowledge of managed care and insurance reimbursement
• Familiarity with automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with a 10-key calculator
