Job Summary

Working remotely, the Collection Support Specialist will perform various administrative tasks within the Collections Department, including managing accounts, preparing documentation, and ensuring compliance with collection laws.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop a thorough understanding of first- and third-party collections processes and client requirements
  • Prepare accurate pay-off letters and itemized statements for clients and authorized parties
  • Assist Third Party Account Managers with administrative tasks and maintain accurate account documentation
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; associate degree or post-high school courses preferred
  • Previous administrative work experience in an office setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
