Job Summary
A company is looking for a Collections Agent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confer with customers to determine reasons for overdue payments and review terms of contracts
- Manage collection efforts with persuasiveness and professionalism
- Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules based on customers' financial situations
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of collection experience
- Professional training courses or College Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws regulating the collection industry
- Ability to interact with management with recommendations and concerns
