Job Summary
Working full-time in Killeen, TX, the Collections Agent will manage customer accounts by making and receiving calls to resolve past-due payments, utilizing ethical recovery strategies and negotiation skills to secure timely payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to discuss and resolve open customer accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements with empathy and professionalism while following scripts and policies
- Meet monthly performance and recovery goals while maintaining positive customer relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in contact center, customer service, technical support, or sales is required
- Ability to type accurately at 20+ words per minute
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of the Windows operating system
