Collections Agent
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Collections Agent will engage with customers to resolve past-due accounts, utilizing negotiation skills and ethical recovery strategies to secure timely payments while maintaining a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to discuss and resolve open customer accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements with empathy and professionalism while adhering to scripts and policies
- Meet monthly performance and recovery goals while maintaining positive customer relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in contact center, customer service, technical support, sales, or back-office support
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of the Windows operating system
- Ability to type accurately at 20+ words per minute
