As a full-time Collections Agent, the candidate will engage with customers to resolve past-due accounts, utilizing ethical recovery strategies and negotiation skills while working in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound and receive inbound calls to discuss and resolve open customer accounts
- Negotiate payment arrangements with empathy and professionalism, understanding each customer's situation
- Meet monthly performance and recovery goals while maintaining positive relationships with customers
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior contact center or customer service experience is required
- Ability to type accurately at 20+ words per minute
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of the Windows operating system
