Collections Analyst

Job Summary

Collaborating with Revenue Cycle leadership, the full-time remote Collections Analyst will manage self-pay inventory, analyze bad debt for tax setoff opportunities, and ensure accurate vendor reconciliation while adhering to compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage self-pay inventory through the revenue cycle process using Epic tools
• Analyze bad debt inventory to identify potential tax setoff opportunities
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate posting of tax setoff transactions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma with four years of medically related customer service/collections experience, or a bachelor's degree with two years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of Epic
• Understanding of medical terminology and health insurance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and initiative to achieve goals
