Collections and AR Manager

Job Summary

Managing accounts receivable and collections processes, the full-time remote Collections and AR Manager will execute proactive outreach for outstanding invoices, maintain comprehensive reporting, and serve as the primary contact for billing inquiries while ensuring professionalism and relationship continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Own accounts receivable aging and produce weekly AR aging reports for senior management
• Execute a structured collections outreach program with defined touchpoints for outstanding invoices
• Facilitate payment method setup and onboarding for district accounts, ensuring smooth processing and documentation

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or billing operations, preferably with government entities or school districts
• Proven track record of reducing AR aging and improving collections rates through structured outreach processes
• Experience managing a diverse portfolio of accounts with varying payment behaviors and complex approval processes
• Working proficiency in NetSuite or a comparable enterprise ERP system
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in managing a large volume of open items
