Collections and Billing Specialist

Job Summary

To support international operations, the fully remote Collections and Billing Specialist will research and resolve overdue client invoice issues, ensure timely billing processes, and maintain invoicing integrity while fostering positive client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for inquiries related to overdue receivables and prepare outstanding balance statements for clients
• Create and issue invoices accurately and timely, while maintaining master customer records in Sage Intacct
• Monitor billing discrepancies, collaborate with internal teams to correct errors, and assist in monthly close activities

Required qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of related collections and billing experience
• Complex billing experience with the ability to analyze processes and implement improvements
• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar business accounting software
• Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Spanish or American Sign Language is a plus
